SSiS Documentation: System Requirements

We have based our development system on a lowly Pentium 200MHz. It is running Debian 3., and every package needed by SSiS is avaiable as a Debian package. This is deliberate, as we do not want to make it hard to use SSiS. As far as we are aware, the following list are the main packages you will need running on your box for SSiS to be able to work.

• Apache & Apache SSL (v 1.3+)
• MySQL (v 3.23+)
• Perl (v 5.6.1+) + DBI & LDAP Libaries.
• Coldsyc (v 2.2.5) + P5-Palm Perl library ( v 1.3.0)
• PHP (v 4.0.4+)
• OpenLDAP
• OpenSSL
• SAMBA
